Discard and Donate is a downsizing and decluttering  that guarantees cost savings on the move, measures environmental impact, gives back to the community and assists the employee in their efforts to get the home ready for sale & the arrival of the movers. Quick Start settles the employee into their new home by unpacking and putting away the household goods shipment in a neat and organized manner. These services are performed by professional organizers throughout the world.


Currently serving as Head of Global Mobility at Pinterest, Shannon Doyle has a dynamic career spanning over 10 years in mobility tax, immigration, and relocation. As the strategic force behind Pinterest’s global mobility initiatives, Shannon brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to creating globally inclusive programs to foster a positive employee experience.


Marie Foti-Fleischer joins us from Boston Scientific Corporation, where she serves as a Senior Specialist in Immigration and Global Mobility. Marie’s passion is immigration and project management. She manages group moves, namely technology transfer and acquisition-driven moves. Her focus is streamlining processes, managing international group moves, and educating and consulting on US and Global immigration topics. In her free time, Marie enjoys reading good books, watching bad TV, needlepoint and traveling with her husband and 1 ½ year old son.

Amanda Geaney is a Global Mobility Manager with 10 years of experience advising on and leading immigration programs for companies large and small, in a variety of sectors. She currently leads the Global Mobility function at Akamai Technologies, Inc. in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she recently took on the relocation, tax, and remote work teams in addition to immigration. Prior to Akamai she worked at Chin & Curtis, LLP, a boutique immigration law firm here in Boston, Massachusetts. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Middlebury College and a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University. She strives to use her background in education to edify her program and its beneficiaries so that they better understand the services they are receiving and can make more informed decisions for their futures. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling with her family, but is finding that increasingly difficult with both her 2 year old and 9 month old in tow. 


Mike Gifford is senior manager, Global Security Services, at RTX, where he leads International Security operations across the company.  Mike began working in International Security in 2010 at Pratt & Whitney, where he successfully led several evacuations.  He currently leads the International Security Evacuations Center of Excellence team which is responsible for responding to security events for RTX personnel located in 50+ countries.  Mike graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Extensive experience in Big 4 and RMC leadership roles to lead mobility transformation initiatives for clients through the design and implementation of agile programs that recognize the needs of the business, the needs of the customer and the preferences of the employee.

Your personal interests

Taryn lives in Charleston, SC with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with and watching her children play soccer, staying active with the local school communities (former PTA president and current PTA treasurer), and enjoying time with family and friends in the Lowcountry.

Stéphan Malvoisin, Senior Vice President, Partnerships, U.S., Crisis24

Stéphan is one of Crisis24’s founders, and has more than 25 years of experience in technological development, security assistance and responding to crisis incidents worldwide.

Prior to forming Crisis24, he served in both the public and private sectors, operating in sensitive countries around the world.

Stéphan is a former UDT/Intelligence Officer in the French Army and Intelligence Services, and served as the Attaché to the Vice President of the Parliament.

Stephan is an alumnus of Sciences-Po Paris, and holds a MA in History from the University La Sorbonne – Paris.

Heather Thomas, Principal, Account Management Team Lead, Mobility, Mercer

Your professional interests

Heather Thomas is a Principal in Mercer’s North American Mobility group, where she co-leads the North American Account Management team. Heather supports Mercer’s mobility data clients, managing a portfolio of American and Canadian based multinationals, including many of Mercer’s largest clients. She provides guidance on expatriate compensation and supports clients in their utilization of Mercer’s various types of expatriate compensation data. She has advanced technical knowledge of various data methodologies and assists clients with complex data analyses.

Heather also provides consulting to a wide range of multinationals in developing, implementing and enhancing their international assignment programs.  She has a wide range of project experience, including policy benchmarking, process evaluation and redesign, COLA transition analyses and recommendations, and more. She conducts Mercer’s North American seminars and training and presents at various other Mercer events.

Heather has been with Mercer (formerly ORC) since 2008, and prior to that, she worked in global mobility at Lehman Brothers, where she navigated the challenges of assignee support throughout an unprecedented bankruptcy environment.

Your personal interests

Heather lives in the Hartford, CT area with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and watching both kids play hockey and lacrosse.  She stays active with her children’s school and various other initiatives and events in her community.  She has a MA from NYU and a BA from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.

Karen Welch is the Global Mobility Lead for Publicis Groupe, the second largest communications group in the world. Karen’s 25+ year career in global mobility spans the communications, information technology, financial services, and nonprofit industries in both corporate and service provider roles. Karen and her team are transforming the Publicis global mobility program into a key differentiator in the Groupe’s ability to hire, grow, and retain amazing talent. Their current focus is on refreshing the mobility program offering and delivering an exceptional mobility experience. Karen and her family live in Amesbury, Massachusetts.
